Advanced Technology for Ramsay Dental Patients

How can dental technology benefit your next visit?

Valley Dental Group has invested heavily in advanced technology to ensure we are delivering the best care to our patients. The incorporation of soft tissue lasers allows for more precise and comfortable gum treatments, such as periodontal therapy and gum reshaping. The use of CT scans provides detailed 3D images, enhancing diagnostics and treatment planning for procedures like dental implant placement, root canal therapy, and oral surgery.

Our Itero digital impressions eliminate the need for messy traditional molds by capturing precise digital images of the teeth and gums. This technology enables the creation of accurate and customized dental restorations, including crowns, bridges, and Invisalign aligners. Advanced dental technologies not only enhance the efficiency and accuracy of procedures but also contribute to patient comfort, reducing treatment times, minimizing discomfort, and improving overall outcomes. Our patients benefit from more precise diagnoses, tailored treatment plans, reduced treatment times, improved aesthetics, and a more comfortable dental experience overall.

CBCT

CBCT is a new innovation in the 3D dental imaging and x-ray system. Valley Dental Group’s utilization of this technology offers significant benefits to patients. Our CT scans provide highly detailed 3D images of your mouth, enabling more accurate diagnostics and treatment planning. This advanced technology means we can precisely assess bone structure, tooth positioning, and the overall condition of the oral cavity.

This leads to more precise and effective treatment outcomes, particularly for procedures like dental implant placement, orthodontics, and oral surgery. CT technology enhances patient safety by reducing radiation exposure and allows for better communication between the dental team and patients, as the detailed images can be easily shared and explained. Valley Dental Group’s implementation of CT technology ensures patients receive the highest standard of care and optimal treatment results.

Diode Laser

Diode lasers are advanced tools that provide precise and minimally invasive treatment options for our patients. With their selective tissue ablation capabilities, diode lasers are particularly useful for gum contouring, frenectomies (closing spaces between the front teeth), and quickly addressing soft tissue lesions such as cold sores. They minimize damage to surrounding healthy tissues, leading to faster healing and reduced discomfort. Diode lasers also have hemostatic properties, minimizing bleeding during surgical procedures, and exhibit bactericidal effects, aiding in disinfection and reducing the risk of infection. This advancement in dental technology will speed up your appointments and your healing time!

ITero Digital Impressions

Both Dr. Ghorashi and Dr. Bahadori takes advantage of iTero digital impressions, providing their patients with a range of benefits. With iTero technology, traditional messy molds are replaced by precise digital impressions of the teeth and gums. This results in a more comfortable and efficient experience for patients.

The digital impressions capture accurate details, ensuring precise and customized dental restorations, including crowns, bridges, and aligners. Patients can visualize their treatment outcomes through 3D virtual models, enhancing their understanding and involvement in the treatment process.

Furthermore, iTero digital impressions enable seamless communication between the dental team and dental laboratories, ensuring high-quality and accurate restorations. We know you will love our new digital impressions!

Intra-Oral Digital Photography

The naked eye can not see nearly as much as a digital camera can, especially when we use it to see very, very small areas of your mouth, or a tooth. This small, handheld device allows us to capture high-resolution images of the inside of your mouth, providing a clear visual representation of any dental conditions. You’ll be able to view these images on a monitor with us, often in real time, enabling you to better understand your oral health and treatment options. The intra-oral camera enhances communication, fostering a collaborative approach to treatment planning. It also helps detect and diagnose dental issues at an early stage, leading to more timely interventions and potentially preventing more extensive and costly procedures in the future.
